科学原理
测量池或“芯片”包含一个矩形的狭缝流动通道，该通道由硼硅玻璃制成，具有均匀的横截面积。样品以恒定的流速通过流道注入，在流道中，安装在基座内的多个压力传感器监控从入口到出口的压降。压降与边界壁处的剪应力相关。剪切速率和剪切应力与矩形缝的几何形状和流量直接相关，从而可以进行粘度测量。
